SBA Paycheck Protection Forgiveness Application Information
WESTconsin Credit Union is a proud partner of the Small Business Administration in providing the Paycheck Protection Program to assist our business members in navigating the many challenges they have faced during the pandemic. The final step for this program is applying for forgiveness and certifying the funds were used as intended under the program. You must file for forgiveness to have your loan repaid by SBA. If you do not apply for forgiveness, you must start making payments 10 months after the last day of your covered period.
Members that obtained a PPP loan at WESTconsin Credit Union will receive an invitation and link to apply at least 4-6 weeks prior to the first payment due date and you do not need to take any action until that time if you choose. Under the terms of the PPP loan program, you have until the maturity date of the loan to apply for forgiveness.

Below are some helpful tips when completing the application:
- You may apply either from your phone, tablet or laptop computer, however slow internet speeds may reduce platform performance. If you are having trouble connecting, try again with a different device or location with increased internet speed.
- If you need help finding your Business Industry (NAICS Code) you can search keywords of your business in the Business Industry box.
- Your covered period is 8 to 24 weeks. We recommend using the full 24 weeks. If you chose a 24-week covered period, you may simply add 167 days to your loan date to determine the end date of your covered period.
- If you are requesting forgiveness for a 2nd Draw PPP loan, you may be required to upload evidence of a 25% decline in revenue. SBA is only requesting that information from industries where a decline in revenue was not typical, but most industries are exempt from needing to supply specific information. The system will prompt you if it is required in your case.
- If you need additional support SBA offers live customer service to borrowers at 877-552-2692.
